This was the very first Usborne book we ever received. My cousin-who-lives-in-England sent it to us after the birth of our first born. It's still in such great shape - unlike some others that we have had to replace with a second or third copy.
We liked that book so much, we bought another, then another. I have only placed a few orders in the last twelve years, but when I do, I make it count.
Usborne books are like book candy to us - they are treats. I hoard them and save them for special occasions like birthdays, Christmas, the first day of school, the last day of school, Baptism days, and family road trips.
Some of them are for official curriculum. Most of them are for fun - to encourage special interests my kids have, to supplement curriculum, or to generate interest in a neglected area.
Only twice in my life have I done an in-home product show, and only for Usborne books. I make this exception because I like these books and I like my friend Mary McCarthy, Usborne Consultant (LadySlipperBooks.com). Mary loves what she does, she is good at what she does, and her enthusiasm for books shines through every conversation I have with her. We are fellow bibliophiles, she and I.
Please accept this invitation from Mary & I to browse my e-Show and place an order for however many books your book budget will allow. Stock up for Christmas, birthdays, car trips, baby showers, etc. Treat your kids and grand-kids this year to something fun, educational, and long-lasting.
If you don't have time now, star this post and come back to it later. You'll be glad you did!
Happy Browsing!
{The e-Show closes on Tuesday July 3rd.}
