If I can slide between my snowmen-printed flannel sheets before 9pm tonight I will declare this a nearly perfect Sunday.
Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, fruit salad, coffee, orange juice, and a cinnamon roll.
Mass with my bookend children. So many people to pray for. So much to be thankful for.
Middle children went with Dad to Mass, then to the Science Museum. Explosive experiments were a hit.
Lunch and tea at home. Lesson plans updated and printed. Spent time knitting while watching a show about ancient Greeks with my daughter.
(sorry, next time I'll wipe off my lip gloss)
Chicken pot pie made from scratch, Mississippi mud brownies. Served early for a change.
An after dinner walk. Crunchy ice.
She even let me practice shooting her outdoors.
Little ones in bed early after a chapter of The Tales of Tiptoe Lightly.
Big kids playing games and predicting how many inches of snow we'll get the next two days.
I can only think of a few more ways the day could have been more perfect, but I'll take this one just like it is.
