The weekend slipped by before I could get a post up! It's been a whirlwind - stairway carpet finally replaced, a new Four Year Old in the family, errands, dr. appointments, sick kids, and never-ending winter.
BUT - we did spy our first robin of the season!
Our menu this week looks something like:
Monday - Meatless Black Bean Soup
Tuesday - Chicken Tortilla Soup
Wednesday - Salsa Shrimp Soup
Thursday - Chipotle if we need to
Friday - the usual on-the-go egg salad, tuna & bean salad, cheese pizza and salmon for dinner
Saturday - something involving chicken breast
Can't believe Laetare Sunday has come and gone. Passion Sunday, Palm Sunday, then Holy Week. We're halfway through!
(We have some talented ladies in the parish sewing up violet and rose vestments in their spare time!) (No, I'm not one of them.)
For the Sancto part of this post I am going to recommend to you It is Really Not So Hard to Become a Saint. This week I won't impose a lengthy pesonal reflection on you, other to say that by listening to this talk I learned a lot. Not very eloquent of me, but there it is. How about if you take a listen and come back to tell me what you learned?
