Your guides, Tabitha and Snickers, have explored every little space into which they can fit their three and four month old feline bodies. This tour includes only the main level of the house because we have learned to keep our bedroom doors shut during the day and they reside in the mudroom at night.
The Washing Machine
The Dryer
The Dishwasher - licking any food residue off spoons. Yuck!
The Refrigerator
Behind the pull-out trash can
Inside the play kitchen oven
Under the lazy-Susan corner cabinet
It's a good thing these critters have nine lives- we have to be extra careful when closing the door to anything!
It's rather ironic that I drafted this post yesterday and by 5:30 pm Tabitha went missing. We thought she was curled up somewhere sleeping but by 7 pm we scoured the house looking for her, looking everywhere we could think of - inside appliances, drawers and cabinets, closets, under beds and dressers. We thought she could have slipped out when the children went outside to play so my hubby searched around the house and yard in falling snow looking for little footprints. The kids went to bed worried and in tears. We gave up the search around 10 pm, fearful that she would freeze in the snow overnight. Shortly after 10 my husband checked the garage one more time and found her under the van. We are oh so glad to have found our little lady. Snickers had to wrestle with her right away and meow as if asking her where she had been. I think her reply meow meant that she had not been to London to see the Queen!
